LGBTQ-and-A+

Hello, fellow human beings. We are curious spices and can not control what we are curious about if we do not get the information, right! We all need answers to different questions, maybe you are curious about your sexual orientation or about others to get more understanding. Here are some common questions people would ask and they are answered for once.

The Q&A

Is it a choice?

Sexual orientation is not a matter of choice. People do not actively choose to be gay or straight. As individuals age, their attractions may naturally evolve, whether toward the same sex, a different gender, or both. These changes occur organically and are not a conscious decision.

Are you born LGBT?

We cannot definitively determine the reasons behind individuals becoming LGBT, as scientists have not reached a consensus on this matter. Nevertheless, a significant portion of the scientific community has concurred that one's sexual orientation is an intrinsic aspect of their identity from birth.

While some individuals may come to recognize their homosexuality during their teenage years, others may only realize it much later in life. Homosexuality is characterized by a profound inner sense of identity and attraction.

What does “fag” mean?

The term 'fag' is a colloquial expression often used to derogatorily refer to someone who is gay. Typically, it is employed in a hurtful manner, and using this word is not considered appropriate. Its use can be emotionally distressing for individuals on the receiving end.

What if my religion says it is wrong to be gay?

Religious traditions vary, and even within the same faith, beliefs can differ. However, a common thread in all religions is the importance of treating others kindly. At our school, we respect everyone's faith while also recognizing each person's right to be respected. We can hold our own beliefs while respecting those with different ones. It's also important to note that there are LGBT individuals in all faiths, and many religious communities are welcoming and inclusive.
